Bali Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Support Centre opened on October 2013 in Jl. Dewi Sri IV-1, Kuta offering monthly support group meetings to all women diagnosed with cancer, not only with breast cancer. The meetings take place on the second Friday of each month from 5 p.m.- 7.30 p.m. and offer women the chance to talk with survivors, share their own experience with others, take home our breast health literature, browse our women’s health library, enjoy a little light fitness/yoga and meditation class, healthy cooking demonstration, jewellery making and a light meal. Bali Pink Ribbon also offers mastectomy bra fitting and breast prostheses donated by the Mcgrath Foundation, Australia.
Cancer patients from the islands of Sumba and Sumbawa attending Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar, for their treatment, have regularly joined Bali Pink Ribbon Support Group Meetings.
The Bali Pink Ribbon Support Centre is also used for in-house breast cancer awareness seminars. However the majority of our twice monthly seminars are held in the workplace or at the local Banjar for the convenience of the participants.
