Why BATIK?

It would be impossible to visit or live in Indonesia and not be exposed to one of the country’s most highly developed art forms, BATIK. 2019 was an important year for Indonesia as it was the 10th year after the recognition of batik as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. In this 11th annual Bali Pink Ribbon Run & Fun Walk, we would like to celebrate BATIK and proudly introduce it to local and international audience.
