Bali Pink Ribbon

Welcome to the 1st edition of Bali Pink Ribbon Newsletter for 2019!

It is my great privilege to THANK YOU, along with all the BPR volunteers, for your 2018 support, your generous hours of volunteering and fundraising for the Bali Pink Ribbon Run October last year, and your partnership in sharing information about modifiable breast cancer risk. Your generosity, in combination with a range of communal and business partners, make an impact.
We start the new year with key objectives, purchasing a second mobile USG for screening to remote areas in Bali, initiate a breast cancer Women only clinic and start a ‘Rumah Singgah’ for less fortunate patients undergoing treatment. This year we will campaign for the importance of diverse community involvement in breast cancer survivorship care and recurrence prevention planning.
Some activities planned for 2019 are screening on February 25th – March 1st with BPR Breast screening roadshow to Lombok, screening 3 villages organized by the Community of Love from the Catholic Cathedral. The John Fawcett Foundation will visit the same villages performing cataract operations.
Save the Date: on Saturday October 27th for Bali Pink Ribbon’s Pink Halloween 5km & 10 km Run at 6 PM with costume family fun event.

Follow what we do on www.balipinkribbon.com, or social media channels FB balipinkribbon and @bali.pink.ribbon.

Yours in health,
Gaye Warren
Founder

PS Please don’t forget it’s not too early to show your support in 2019! We count on donors like you. Thank you.
